One pan, pure comfort. Golden Italian sausage simmered with creamy white beans, wilted spinach and sweet tomatoes in a velvety parmesan sauce. Scoop it up with crusty bread on a cool evening — it tastes like a hug from a Tuscan kitchen.
Ingredientsfor 4 portions
- 400 g Turkey Italian Sausage, Raw, casings removed
- 0.8 cup Cannellini Beans, Dry, or 2 cans, drained
- 5 cup Spinach
- 4 clove Garlic, minced
- 10 tbsp Heavy Cream
- 40 g Parmesan Cheese, grated
- 0.9 medium Yellow Onion, diced
- 1.4 tbsp Olive Oil
- 1.3 cup Cherry Tomatoes, halved
Steps
- Heat the olive oil in a deep pan and brown the sausage, breaking it into craggy pieces, for 5–6 minutes until caramelized.
- Add the onion and garlic and soften for 3–4 minutes until translucent and fragrant.
- Stir in the cherry tomatoes and cook until they begin to burst and release their juices.
- Pour in the cream and add the white beans, simmering gently for 5 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
- Fold through the spinach until just wilted, then stir in the parmesan off the heat until glossy. Season and serve.
